Scan and Give to Fairbanks Santa's Helpers

Provide some joy this Christmas Season

The NSCF announces the Scan and Give program to simplify giving to Santa's Helpers this holiday season. Our cheerful holiday QRC code links smartphones directly to the donation page at the website.

You can help.

Download the Scan and Give poster PDF file, print it and post it where it will be seen.

Santa's Helpers is a group of community members, who work together to keep the long-time Fairbanks tradition of Santa's Clearing House going strong by collaborating with local non-profits.

With community support, families will receive a weeks worth of staples, a holiday meal and gifts for each child under age 18.

Santa's Clearing House was started by the former owner of the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, and provided a way for Fairbanks-area residents to brighten the holidays of neighbors in need. It was a Fairbanks tradition for over 60 years before its doors were closed in 2014.

Christmas is for joy for kids.

Santa's Helpers maintains the practice of community referrals to continue to have neighbors helping neighbors and you are encouraged to contact us on behalf of families who could use a hand.

Scan and Give QRC GraphicIn 2017, Santa's Helpers are accepting new and gently used toys or gift cards at the JP Jones Community Center and seven local businesses.

They hope to help approximately 220 families this year. Their financial goal in 2017 is $50,000 to underwrite operations and provide food.

You can help us spread the word this season. We are asking companies, businesses and individuals to download a letter sized pdf file, print it on a color printer and post it where it will come to the attention of those in a position to donate funds to help Santa's Helpers reach their goal.
